“I started working out with Nick a
little more than 4
months ago. I had 6 weeks until I was competing in a fitness
competition, and 4 weeks after that I was getting married. I
have been a runner for 10 years previous; I have been consistently
weight training for 6 years and competed in a fitness competition in
2002. I had, also, been a personal trainer for 4 years
previously. Therefore, I was not in bad shape or overweight and
I knew how to "workout." What Nick offered to
me was something different. I had muscle, but very little
functionality to it and lacked core stability. Core stability
and functionality being very important to my fitness routine,
I decided to take help. I had never worked with a trainer
before; I didn't trust that any other trainer would know more
about what worked for my body than I did. Nick knew a
lot more than I did and I turned off my "bodybuilder" mentality
and trusted him. My core was sore, and the detail in my
figure showed up, and I was able to carry out all of my moves
for my routine in the competition. Mission accomplished,
my figure turned out just as a had hoped. With a little
outside nutrition help, as well. I continue to go to Nick
because I am hoping to tweak some things on my figure and because
he makes sure that I can't duplicate these workouts on my own. I
have seen the benefits and results and don't want to go back
to my old ways, they did work, they got me this far. My
goals are different now that I've seen a new way.

“I'm 29 years old and work as a Financial Consultant for M&T
Securities. My degree is in Business Administration, Finance. My
job consists of managing the investment programs in six
of M&T Bank's Baltimore branches. My work schedule
keeps me very busy and I have very little time to devote to fitness
during an average week. Before I began with Nick, I would
workout aimlessly doing what I thought was necessary to improve
my muscle tone and strength. But, I wasn't improving, I
was just maintaining. Eventually I hit a plateau and even
gained 10lbs above my normal weight of 190 on my 6' frame during
a single month. In December 2007, I met with Nick for the
first time to determine my goals, strengths, weaknesses and limitations. After
a couple of meetings, he devised a program that included exercises
and techniques to speed up my metabolism and increase my strength
and muscle size. I used to perform my routine in muscle
groups. Nick explained that my old thinking was that of
a bodybuilder's mentality, but not necessarily useful for someone
seeking a general level of fitness, as I was. He taught
me that total body movements done with the correct form
and at the right pace were key to reach my goals. The total
body movements cut my workout time in half but I always
feel like I worked out twice as hard. Making my workouts
this efficient allows me to fit them into my hectic days. Nick
also gave me diet tips to help me achieve my goals. In
just under two months, I lost 13 lbs and improved my strength
all around. We revise my program periodically in order
to keep it fresh and interesting. We have even incorporated
movements to improve my athletic ability since I occasionally
play various sports. Nick has been a tremendous motivator
in achieving my fitness goals. He doesn't just tell you
